# Segmentation Classes Catalog

## V1/V2 target classes
|
|
|

### vegetation
|
|
Used for green cover analysis and NDVI comparison.
|
|
|
|
### water
|
|
Used for water surface extraction and NDWI comparison.
|
|
|
|
### building
|
|
Used for footprint segmentation if a suitable model is available.
|
|
|
|
### impervious_surface
|
|
Used for paved/urban surface estimation.
|
|
|
|
## Output requirements
|
|
|
|
Segmentation outputs must support:
|
|
|
|
- raster mask path,
|
|
- polygonized vector output,
|
|
- area per class,
|
|
- confidence or quality score when available,
|
|
- overlay visualization.
|
|
|
|
## Rule
|
|
|
|
Segmentation outputs must become geospatial layers, not just image overlays.
|
