Segmentation Classes Catalog

V1/V2 target classes

vegetation

Used for green cover analysis and NDVI comparison.

water

Used for water surface extraction and NDWI comparison.

building

Used for footprint segmentation if a suitable model is available.

impervious_surface

Used for paved/urban surface estimation.

Output requirements

Segmentation outputs must support:

• raster mask path,
• polygonized vector output,
• area per class,
• confidence or quality score when available,
• overlay visualization.

Rule

Segmentation outputs must become geospatial layers, not just image overlays.
