# v0.1 Foundation Target

## Goal

The v0.1 release proves that GeoIntel can run locally and handle the first geospatial foundation workflow.

## Included

- FastAPI backend foundation.
- PostgreSQL/PostGIS connection.
- React frontend foundation.
- MapLibre map.
- Project/Area/Dataset foundation.
- GeoJSON fixture validation.
- Minimal storage and metadata extraction.

## Excluded

- AI inference.
- Segmentation.
- Live GRB/Sentinel/DHMV/LiDAR integrations.
- Training.
- AI Copilot.
- Advanced reporting.

## Release gate

v0.1 can be tagged only when:

- `make readiness` passes;
- backend and frontend start locally;
- Sprint 1 success definition is met;
- known limitations are documented.
